CPGP is a tiered system with three levels: Specialist, Pro, and Elite. Each level builds expertise through targeted instruction. Upon completion of a level, participants earn pins, patches, decals, and certificates to recognize their achievements and an ability to take on any project with skill and confidence.

Program Details

Below are the detailed guidelines and requirements of the Copperfield Professional Growth Program, outlining everything you need to know to successfully transform your skills and your business.

Program Structure

Program Structure

Sequential Levels

Participants may not skip levels, however, classes within a level can be taken in any order. (i.e. you cannot become Copperfield Pro before completing Copperfield Specialist level)

Learning Achievement Program

This is not a certification program but a professional development initiative.

Flexibility & Attendance

No Timeframe

  • Participants can progress at their own pace. 

Attendance Requirements

  • Participants must sign in at the start of class and record their name, company, email, and phone number.
  • Full class attendance is required, with official mid-morning, mid-afternoon, and lunch breaks provided. Additional breaks are only permitted for restroom use or emergencies. 

Testing & Progression

Testing Requirement

  • A 22-minute test, consisting of 11 questions, is administered at the end of each class. Once you click the link for the test in your email, the 22-minute test begins and must be completed immediately.
  • A minimum score of 80% is required to pass.
  • Participants who do not pass will receive a retake test via email, which must be completed within 3 business days. If they fail again, the class must be retaken. The student can request the retake via CPGP@copperfield.com

Progression

  • Participants must complete all the classes within a level to advance to the next level.

Completion Rewards

Merit Items

Upon completing a level, participants will receive:

  • A uniform patch, decal, pin, and certificate of level completion.
  • All rewards will be sent to the company corporate address for distribution to employees.

Certificate
Details

The certificate and survey emailed to participants after each class does not indicate a passing grade on the exam. It serves as a confirmation of class attendance and completion only.

Employer-Tied Designations

Achievements are tied to the company/employer. If an employee changes companies, they must restart the program from the beginning. 

Incentives for Employers

Upon an employee completing all 10 classes and achieving the Copperfield Elite status, the company will receive a $100 account credit per employee.

Credits are capped at 10 employees per company annually.

Certificate
Details

Highlight Achievements

Participants who achieve milestones will be recognized in a monthly Copperfield e-blast, celebrating their dedication and accomplishments.

Additional Details

Backdated Classes

Credit is available for “Professional Chimney Inspection & Delivery” and “Pellet Maintenance: Servicing & Trouble Shooting” if class was completed after January 1, 2025, upon passing the associated test. Email CPGP@copperfield.com to schedule your test today.

Voluntary Participation

This program is optional and open to all employees, regardless of whether they aim to attain a designated level. The program is not open to distributors, manufacturers or consultants.

1 Enrollment

To enroll employees in the Copperfield Professional Growth Program (CPGP), please send an email to CPGP@copperfield.com with the following information:

2 Confirmation

Upon receipt of your enrollment email, we will send an acknowledgement confirming the submission.

3 Class Registration

To register for classes, select the desired course from the selection below and click its corresponding “Register” button.
